Meet Cody! ❤️ 

Cody's story began with a heartbreaking start. He was found as a stray and brought to Carson Shelter severely matted, extremely malnourished, underweight, and suffering from a terrible flea infestation. Thankfully, we were able to rescue this sweet boy and get him the care he desperately needed. 

Cody has since enjoyed a veterinary wellness appointment and a much-needed trip to the groomer, where he was cleaned up and started feeling like a new dog! He is discovering the simple joys of life that every dog deserves, like soft, cozy dog beds, a safe place to rest, and a full tummy.

Cody is absolutely loving life inside a home where he is safe, comfortable, and receiving meals 3–4 times a day to help him slowly and safely gain weight and rebuild his strength. Despite everything he has been through, Cody is nothing but sweet, loving, and gentle. He has such a beautiful spirit and deserves a family who will cherish him and show him what a wonderful life can be. Cody will be ready for adoption once he gains approximately 9–10 more pounds, but we are accepting adoption applications now! We would love to find his forever family so that when he is ready, he can go straight into the loving home he deserves. ❤️
